Taman Negara is encompassed over a large portion of the Titiwangsa mountains, measuring an area of 4343 square kilometers. It was laid down in 1939 and was named as King George V National Park earlier. Later, the widespread luxuriant forest was renamed as 'Taman Negara' post to independence.
